General Update....

Thu Nov 5, 2009, 1:22 AM
While I try to have something new to post every week regarding New Haven, usually on a Friday since that is my typical 'drawing day,' I probably won't have anything to post this week. I'm trying to knock out some writing this month, which hasn't really been my focus as much as it needs to be.
I am a writer after all. This art thing, while I do really love it, is mainly just a past time for me.
Aside from that, I'm currently involved in a competition over at the Subspace Comms Network; designing a ship from any era of Star Trek that is less than 200 meters in length. I'll post some pics when it gets farther along, but if you're dying to see what I'm up to: you can follow my entry here: [link]

It's good I think to take a step back from a large project for a while, take a breath, get some perspective, sleep on whatever ideas are running around your head, and eve try to get some work done on something else. I often find that if I can immerse myself in something other then whatever current project I'm working on, that when I come back, I'll have a new perspective or even a renewed sense of creative stamina.

So until, I can get back into New Haven, I'll be in the Trek Universe.

Light 'em up.

Switched the picture of the Velos Corporation Logo for one with a white background so that thumbnail should look decent now.

Thanks for the :+fav:s...and your comments regarding the DILIGENT. It's always cool to sound the design evolving from the first prototype to the final 2D and medjei's awsome 3D modeling. Not only that, a coupld of the version evolved or have the capacity to evolve into new classes that would be unique to ASR's universe

Ahh, another airsoft enthuasist, my pick of poison is the,
Beretta cx4 Storm bolt rifle.
40 extended clip, with pinpoint over 100 meters. Packs a punch ^_^" I know i shot myself with it -_-"

and secondary is,

Sig Sauer Sig P226,
2x 15 mags (1 spare)

Anyway, I have browsed through your gallery and i must say, some of your plans and concept designs are amazing.

The gun references are well thought out aswell. Some remind me of "pimp my gun" application, which i used in work for rapid design prototyping when we first started.
Though we do have a huge database now for gun parts, mechanisms and other reference images related.

Am just going to grab a few favourites so i remeber to check up on you.

I use a TM G36c right now. No side arm yet.

I love the Pimp My Gun site. I've spent my fare share of time there coming up with new ideas.

Thanks for taking a look at my work. I'm glad you like it.
